One of Adelaide’s senior medical practitioners, Dr J A Cook, is commencing a new exclusive service, located in a brand-new practice in the convenient North Adelaide Location of AMA house.  Dr Cook has been practicing medicine for many years, with a particular interest in musculoskeletal medicine, regeneration medicine and occupational medicine.

For a fixed annual fee, clients of Executive Preventative Medicine (EPM) will have access to the following services:

• Comprehensive baseline health assessment and medical history review.
• Development and management of your agreed health surveillance program.
• Review consultation regarding results of investigations and recommendations of potential treatment if indicated.

Services included in the full health check for each patient include:

• Cardiovascular and other appropriate counselling.
• Review of medications and immunisations.
• Lifestyle assessment.
• Timely access to leading medical specialists.

Our comprehensive history, physical examination and investigations will aim to detect predispositions to serious deleterious medical conditions and recommend appropriate action to be taken.  Medical conditions may include:

• Cardiovascular disease including coronary arteries and peripheral circulation.
• Obesity and metabolic conditions such as diabetes and fatty liver.
• Early detection and appropriate referral for potential cancer.
• Musculoskeletal conditions including osteoarthritis and other degenerative conditions.
• Mental conditions including psychological conditions and cognition as indicated.

There is a fixed annual fee. (excluding external screening tests), which may be tax deductible.

EPM’s will also have the option to take up one of the limited Executive GP Services Corporate Package.  the EPM owner of the package will be able to access up to 12 priority visits (seen within 24 hours either face to face or via teleconference) per year to EPM for professional GP consultations.  This is available to the EPM’s close family from 5 years of age or immediate work colleagues.
